Aqaraty — Support

عقاراتي · Rent, tenants, repairs and cash flow

Aqaraty keeps track of your rental properties: who is renting them, what the rent is, whether it has been paid, what you have spent on repairs and taxes, and what is left over. Everything stays on your own device and in your own iCloud.

Questions, problems, or something you wish the app did?

I read every message and reply as soon as I can.

Common questions

How does the app know when rent is due?

It works the dates out from the lease itself. You set when the first payment is due and how often rent is paid — monthly, every three months, every six months, yearly, or a custom number of months — and every future due date follows from that. Tap an unpaid one to record the money, including a part payment.

Will it remind me before rent is due?

Yes. You choose how many days' notice you want. You also get a reminder the day after rent is late, and thirty days before a lease ends. These are scheduled on your own device and arrive whether or not the app is open.

Does my data sync between my iPhone and iPad?

Yes, through your own private iCloud, as long as both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud switched on. Nothing passes through any server belonging to the app.

Can I send a tenant a reminder or a receipt?

Yes. The app writes the reminder for you and opens WhatsApp with it ready to send — you read it first and decide. Tapping a paid rent row produces a receipt you can send the same way. Both can be written in the tenant's own language, which you set per tenant, and you can rewrite the wording yourself in Settings.

Can I use the app in Arabic?

Yes — Settings › Language, with the whole interface laid out right-to-left. The language you read the app in and the language you write to tenants in are set separately.

How do I get my data out?

Settings › Export. You can produce a yearly statement for a property as a PDF, and export everything as spreadsheet files you can open in Numbers or Excel and keep as your own backup.

Is my tenants' information safe?

It never leaves your device and your iCloud. You can also switch on Face ID in Settings so the app cannot be opened by anyone who picks up your device. See the privacy policy for the detail.

I sold a property. Will deleting it erase the history?

Yes, which is usually not what you want. Use Archive instead — on the property's edit screen. It disappears from your lists and stops counting in your totals, but every payment and repair is kept.
